Black Marble - Pretender
Even though it will probably sound painstakingly snobbish - I’ve recently been finding myself rather un-amused with new songs I’ve found on the Internet. Today, however, the all time favorite worldwide computer network did not disappoint. Black Marble’s Pretender totally does it for me. It apparently does it for someone else who went that extra mile and put together to lil’ videoclip for it. The 1987 film Flowers in the Attic appears appropriately creepy, There’s the attic, grave digging, thumb-sucking and people with waxy faces. Apparently, the plot is incest-laden which doesn’t surprise me. It must be the wax-faced people. I wonder if the guys from Black Marble like this video-illustration and what their views on incestuous relationships are.
